How to get purchased music back on iPad?

I wasn’t able to use my Video app feature on my iPad, or the iPod feature, so I hooked it up to the computer. Seeing that it needed to be updated and restored, I did. But the music that I had purchased (that is NOT on the computer’s purchased list) is gone. I know how to restore my applications, but the music that I purchased is gone, and I can’t find it! HELPMEPLZ.
