why am i unable to upload saved pictures on my ipad to a site?

whenever i try to upload a picture that is saved to my ipad to a site (such as facebook, tinypic,tumblr, ect). it is greyed out and unable to click on it. its so frustrating that i cant upload any pictures. someone please help! i dont know if its a setting or something else is wrong. i am using safari btw.

How to set up iphone 3G with no sim to use google voice as secondary phone?
